(This is a long message so don’t dare read it LOL! Or if you do make sure to finish ’til the end).

I have failed countless times; in my relationships, in my career, in my life. Failed big time! My sickness almost define me (PCOS: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, Gastritis name it!) I’ve been in and out of the hospital almost my entire life, diagnosed with PCOS in 2011. I have to undergo lots and lots of medications, numerous ultrasounds, injections, took a lot of pills, too much drugs– just to relieve the pain. My body’s became so weak, my mind and emotions even messed up, no time to actually think straight. It was never easy. It will never be easy. If you are dealing with the same kind of illness, or any other sickness well, you know what it’s like to be where I am. Losing jobs and opportunities, losing interest in life, losing friends, losing all the people that you care and love. You’re hurting inside and yet at the same time, you are also hurting the people around you. But the saddest part is Oh! Losing all of your dreams. . .

      Have you ever encountered people giving up on you? Because they can never really understand you? People rejecting you? Because of your dark past, because of your mistakes, because you are no good, because you are weak, you are sick mentally and physically, because you are bisexual and cannot be accepted by the society, because you’re too honest , too vocal, too different. Because you are just being who you truly are?

Maybe I’m talking to someone right now, or maybe not. I know my journey is way different than your journey. I don’t even know what you’re going through. I sure don’t. Maybe someone left you, someone rejected you, maybe you are sick too, or maybe you don’t have a job. Maybe you have this huge family problem, relationship problems probably with your girlfriend or boyfriend, maybe you feel stuck, maybe you’re tired of your life, maybe you’re hopeless, maybe you’re thinking of ending your life. I don’t know.

But Here’s my Message to You,

           You can find real happiness despite the challenges in front of you! Despite all the questions that keeps playing and playing inside your head. Sometimes, you really don’t need an answer. The challenge is, what are you gonna do about it? What are you gonna do about your situation? Are you gonna waste time dwelling on your problems in the past? that doesn’t even matter right now? How about those who have hurt you and left you? Will you stay mad at them or be bitter about the result of your failed relationships?. Are you gonna waste time hiding yourself? hurting yourself? Are you gonna settle with what you have?

You have the power to decide. Choose to be happy. Choose to be really, really happy. You don’t need to seek others approval. You don’t need others to validate your feelings. You gotta find real happiness within you. Grab all the blessings that God has offered you right now. There is a bright future ahead of you, I know there is. God loves you as who you are. He doesn’t care of what mistakes you’ve done or what mess you’ve made. He has given you the chance to live now! In this very moment. Isn’t it a wonderful gift to start? To begin again? Breathe again? Experience life once more? Hardships doesn’t last long, and so happiness is, so appreciate what you already have.

Be in the present moment and fully live. Be with the people who really cares about you and the people who really loves you. They are your people. Focus on your dreams. Let go of what is hurting you now. Trust God that he is working in your life. You might not be able to see it now but how can you see the price, the clear blue sky if you will just give up.

People will give up on you over and over and over and over again. That’s a fact! But you can never give up on yourself. The moment you feel like giving it all up hold on, hold on to your dreams. Don’t let your failures stop you from doing great. Share your talent to the world. Do what you can do, even how small it is. Experience how beautiful life is. Continue to give your love away even if it hurts. What you have lost, God will absolutely restore. (Deuteronomy 30:3-13) God will give it back to you tenfold.
